Greetings, you are receiving this e-mail because at one time you have volunteered to help with Walk and Knock at some point in the past. This year Walk and Knock is back to mailing out bags and there will be over 150,000 bags for us to pick up on Saturday December 2nd.
We are in desperate need of volunteers across the county so we ask you to consider volunteering to help us pick up food on Saturday December 2nd. We will take any amount of walkers and drivers to help us collect food. This is a great volunteer opportunity for kids, families, co-workers, friends etc, so please feel to ask your social network.
We pick up bags on Saturday December 2nd from roughly 9 AM - 2 PM but will take volunteers for any amount of time you can offer.
To volunteer you can go to the website walkandknock.org and select volunteer right at the top of the page. You can select one of 10 sectors across the county that you would like to work in that is convenient to you. Our new site is much easier to register than in the past but since it is a new site we are asking everyone to register to help if you can.
Please consider helping us this year as we are truly hoping this may be a great year and we wont be able to do it without your help.
